In 2005 when I lived alone in a large apartment for the first time, the idea of a small light of was born out of a need to make the place cosier and warmer, to be welcomed somehow when getting home. In the following years, moving from one apartment to another, I found that in each of them there was at least one socket, which has no use, an abandoned socket.

Gradually I spoke to three artists whose work I admire to create their interpretation of a night-light, their "Abandoned Socket Spirit."
